When Carter started gaining control of his head and becoming more active we knew it was time
to look into a Jumparoo/Exersaucer. As you know, we don’t buy anything without doing a little
research first. So I searched Amazon, read tons of reviews, and decided on the Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo Jumperoo.
This one was in our price range and one of the best features was the adjustable height. It has three height
adjustments so it is able to grow with your little one. Since my husband and I are so tall we have one long little baby!
Now let me tell you a little about the toy itself. It consists of a canvas seat that is surrounded by several colorful toys.
The seat spins around in the middle so Carter can find a new adventure at every direction he turns.
The floating seat in the middle is attached to three metal poles which allow for him to bounce up and down.
On two of the poles there are toys hanging over and down towards him that he loves to try and reach. One section of toys on
the seat has an on/off switch. There are two settings. The first setting turns the lights and sounds
on. It will light up and make sounds when little one bounces. The second setting includes music
with the lights and sounds.
The poles that hold it all together simply click together with little spring loaded push pins so it takes about 2
minutes to collapse it down if you simply don’t have room to keep it assembled all the time.
Being the new parents we are we could not wait to try this new toy out with Carter. I could just
imagine the joy and wonder I was going to see on his face the first time I put him in that little
seat. Well what I saw was not joy and wonder. Instead I saw a LOT of milky white spit up! Yes, it was all over the new
seat and Carter. Note to new mom self: wait at least an hour after he eats before putting him
in the jumparoo.
Needless to say, I can confirm that the toy and seat are very easy to clean! The seat pops out of the middle
and comes off easily so you are able to throw it in the washing machine.
Take two! The second time we put him in the jumparoo he loved it! He likes bouncing up and
down. He’s like a little baby bobblehead. He likes watching the lights light up when he bounces. He has started spinning some of
the toys around and reaching for the animals hanging from the poles.
Carter is almost 6 months old and has not quite figured out that the seat spins around. We sometimes turn him around so he
faces different toys but he has not been able to do it for himself. Overall he really has a blast in his Jumparoo and we
love watching him play and have so much fun. I recommend you pick one up today! Click here to watch the video.
